The Wizard of Paint by Numbers

does Toulouse Lautrec's At the Moulin Rouge

Talouse Lautrec is best known for his vivid posters and paintings of singers, dancers, circus performers and the social life in Paris cabarets during the late 1800's. When a young boy, a riding accident left him physically deformed. While recovering, he turned to drawing and painting. Through his art, he found acceptance, without regard to his dwarfish appearance. His lithographic posters and brightly colored style caused a sensation in the late 1800's. At the Moulin Rouge is typical of his style. He died at the early age of 37. What a loss to the art world.
